Bloom Desktop Tables
Responsive data tables with a spreadsheet-style editor — paste from Excel or Google Sheets, import CSV or JSON, and let visitors sort, search and page through them.
A lightweight, self-contained plugin for tables of data: price lists, specifications, schedules, results, directories. Create a table once, show it on as many pages as you like, and update it in one place.
Features
- ✓Spreadsheet-style editor: type in the cells, or paste a range copied from Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets
- ✓Keyboard navigation, range selection, copy, cut and paste, and insert, move or delete rows and columns
- ✓Column types: text (basic HTML and shortcodes), number, link and image
- ✓Numbers formatted for your site language, with optional decimals, currency or unit — and sorted as numbers
- ✓Sorting by column, accent-insensitive search and pagination
- ✓Rendered as real HTML on the server: readable by search engines and screen readers, visible without JavaScript
- ✓Contained, wide, full-width or theme-width layouts
- ✓Small screens: scroll sideways, or stack each row as a card
- ✓Five styles (Default, Soft, Bordered, Minimal, Dark), three row heights, striped rows and row highlight
- ✓One look for every table: header, row, stripe, text, border and accent colours plus corner radius — with a live preview, no CSS needed
- ✓Import CSV, TSV or JSON (file or pasted), with the separator and encoding detected for you
- ✓Replace a table's data from a file, keeping its column settings and shortcode
- ✓Export any table to CSV, and duplicate tables
- ✓Shortcode and Gutenberg block
- ✓No jQuery and no third-party libraries on your site

Frequently asked questions
Can I use this with any WordPress theme?
Yes. The plugin is theme-independent and uses its own styles prefixed with bloom-desktop-table. It resets the theme's table styles inside its own tables, and follows the theme fonts.
How big can a table be?
Up to 5,000 rows and 100 columns. Every row is part of the page, so search engines see the whole table; for very large tables, split them by topic or turn on pagination.
How do I add a link or an image?
Set the column type to Link or Image. Then type the address, or [Text](https://example.com) to show your own text, or [Description](https://example.com/photo.jpg) to describe an image.
Can I change the colours?
Yes. Tables → Settings → Layout & Styles sets the style, colours, corner radius and row height of every table, with a live preview. Every colour is also a CSS variable, so a few lines of Additional CSS restyle every table — see Tables → Settings → Guide.
What happens to my tables if I delete the plugin?
Nothing, unless you enable “Delete all tables and settings when the plugin is deleted” in the settings. Deactivating the plugin never deletes data.
Privacy
- The plugin does not connect to any external service.
- It sets no cookies and stores nothing in the visitor's browser; tables are plain HTML rendered by your own site.
